Jim Falconi

I live in Jackson Heights, Queens, with my long term domestic partner, Phil.  In March of 2015, it will be forty years that we’ve been together.  Phil now suffers from multiple sclerosis and dementia, so I am also his primary caregiver.  I worked as a research librarian until my retirement four years ago.  I now have two volunteer jobs, one of them with SAGE, the center for LGBTQ elders.  I once took a film class in the seventies back when cutting and editing meant using tools similar to scissors and scotch tape.  I’m learning that digital film making techniques are quite different, but in the end the results are the same.  A good film will be a good film regardless of how it was made.

Personal documentary film produced for personal use only.
