Here are some links below to some of the clips of films that we have shown in class and more links to other pieces that have noteworthy techniques for filming and interviews. The last link to the new york times op docs page are also good examples of storytelling in short segments under 10 minutes.
You do not have to watch all of them or watch them in their entirety. Feel free to pick and choose. Remember that you should be watching these films to look for the techniques that they use for storytelling. Focus on the way the piece is filmed, what is filmed, interview techniques, archival footage / material used, voiceovers, soundscapes, and think about how you may use some of these techniques to shape your film.
